With over 30 years of accounting and financial leadership experience, Allyent provides strategic financial consulting designed to help organizations gain clarity, provide accurate financial statements and streamline accounting processes in order to make sound financial decisions.

Our founder holds an MBA in Accounting with an emphasis in Controllership and previously served as a Chief Financial Officer in the nonprofit sector, providing executive-level financial oversight and strategic planning.

Areas of expertise include:

• Finance and accounting executive for 15+ years of progressive leadership experience non-profit and hospitality organizations

• Extensive experience managing full accounting operations including AP, AR, GL management, cash management, bank reconciliations, lead monthly and year end closing processes

• Sound knowledge of U.S GAAP and non-profit accounting standards, including ASC 958 related to contribution, grants, net assets, donor restrictions, and fund accounting

• Experienced in annual audit schedule preparation, Form 990 coordination, regulatory compliance

• Financial statement preparation and budget to actual analysis

• Annual budget development and forecasting for multi-program organizations

• Developed and strengthened internal controls and procedures to improve operational efficiency  

• Experienced in streamed-line accounting procedures and restructuring accounting operations, cross functional team leadership

• Board-level financial reporting and dashboard presentations

• Experienced in payroll accounting and reconciliation, benefits administration and new hire processing
